Directions
Directions from Johannesburg International
Coming out of the airport complex, follow the signs to Johannesburg. Start initially in the right hand lane.

Soon you will be on the R24 highway. This road then flies over and joins the N12. (You do not take any turnoff - just go with the flow.)

On the N12, get into the second or third lane from the left. You will then automatically take an offramp. As you go off to the left, the road immediately splits and you take the right fork. The road narrows to one lane and you go over the N3 highway. As you cross the highway, you go left and that takes you around and down onto the N3.

You are now heading north. Stay on this road and ignore any turnoffs to Johannesburg or Pretoria. (The signs tell you that you are heading for Bloemfontein and Roodeport - that is what you want.)

The N3 swings around from north to west and changes it`s name to the N1 (also known as the Concrete Highway), but you will not have turned off anywhere. You will still be on the same road, just a different name.

You will go past a turnoff to Rivonia. Ignore that. Take the next offramp, about 7 km further, to William Nicol. Turn right over the highway and a few hundred metres later you come to traffic lights at the intersection with Leslie Avenue. Do not turn. Carry on straight down William Nicol to the next lights which are at Kingfisher.

You can turn right here for Montecasino, but if you would like to unpack before you gamble, turn left into Kingfisher. Almost immediately, you turn right at a very small traffic circle into Crane where you go through a security boom. Then turn right again into Albatross. We are about 0,5km down Albatross on the right hand side - number 55.

Directions from Zimbabwe
You will be on the N1 and will pass Pretoria. As the road goes around Pretoria, it splits and you follow the left fork to Johannesburg and Midrand. You are still on the N1. Eventually, you pass an offramp to New Road and Grand Central Airport (which you ignore). At that point, you go under a road bridge followed immediately by a restaurant over the highway (in other words, the bridge and the restaurant are next to each other and you go under both). You are still on the N1.

Then you pass (and ignore) an offramp to Allandale Rd. Shortly thereafter, the highway splits and you go off to the left (the signs say that you are heading for Durban and Bloemfontein/Roodepoort (NOT Johannesburg).

As you take that left fork, the road immediately splits again and now you take the right fork (to Bloemfontein and Roodepoort).

After all of that, you are still on the N1. You were heading south and now you are heading west towards the sun, which hopefully has not yet set.

Ignore the first offramp (Rivonia) and take the second, about 7 km further, to William Nicol.

We are about 0,6km down Albatross on the right hand side - number 55.
