General Information
There is quite a diverse eco system which encourages a wide range of bird life particularly the dam. If you are fortunate enough you may see some of the smaller creatures that have made this their home such as bush buck, scrub hares, squirrels and mongoose.
There are lovely picnic areas plus an enjoyable walk under a canopy of indigenous trees. For the more energetic, a walk up the koppies where the view is stunning. Don`t forget to bring a torch and swimming towels.

A cosy cottage situated among the trees is ideal for 2 people, whilst two units (consisting of three double rooms each with the main room en-suite) are ideal for a family get together or a small group. Each unit has fully equipped kitchen and a thoughtfully constructed braai area with a spectacular view to help you enjoy your evenings under the stars around a log fire. There are heaters and fans in the room as well as good old fashioned hot water bottles.
Fires in the sitting areas keep the chill at the bay in the winter months, whilst for the brave at heart an outdoor shower can be an experience that you and maybe only the giant eagle owl will share.
